About Me

My photo
Beermarketeer
Worked in beer marketing for over 30 years. Firstly for Morland Brewery in Abingdon, Oxon, working on Old Speckled Hen from its initial launch on draught and Morland Original Bitter. I then moved to St Austell Brewery and worked on Tribute, Proper Job and Korev. Tribute in particular is a brand I have special memories of as without its success, St Austell may well have become a pub company and closed its brewery. I am now retired from my marketing career but my interest in beer continues. I enjoy researching old breweries and beer brands, then telling their story. I am also a collector on breweriana, in particular ashtrays.
